Fushimi Inari Taisha, is a Shinto shrine located in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan. It is famous for its thousands of vermillion torii gates that lead up to the sacred Mount Inari. The shrine is dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice and prosperity. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Kyoto and is known for its beautiful scenery and spiritual significance. Fushimi Inari Shrine has ancient origins, predating the capital of Japan’s move to Kyoto in 794.
